Learn MoreSeemed old and out of date. Not modern at all. This place.. had to change in an old bathroom (without any place to sit) and walk out into a public area with the old and (imho) ratty hospital gown. Last place, nothing was rushed and the anesthesia guy completely explained everything and answered all my questions in the 30 minutes or so before the procedure. This place rush, rush rush. The staff, while not rude, were not compassionate or caring. Last place.. they gave me a warm blanket more than once. This place.. got one when I came in and it was quite non warm by the procedure. Staff seemed missing. For instance no one dedicated to main the check in area. You have to ring a bell to call some nurse from the back. They were late calling me back after I was on time. The only reason imho to come here is location but that won't be enough for me next time.
Was seen today. Great staff the nurse that called me in from waiting room was so sweet, kind & friendly had a nice smile. Made me feel comfortable. There are nurses that truly enjoy their job. Nurturing. Great Team as I waited for my ride I can sense how this team works so well together. Didn’t hear any complains from anyone of them. 😃
The staff in its entirety at Eastern Massachusetts surgical Center were great. The follow-up was wonderful. The nurse who called me told me to contact my physician for something for pain control. I followed her advice and was able to get relief. Thank you to her for strongly recommending that I do so. My surgeons NP was able to take care of the situation quickly and effectively. I'm very grateful for the care from start to finish. Kind regards to all.
Outstanding staff, caring, knowledgeable, thorough, thoughtful. The experience was superb from receptionist to nursing, anesthesiologist and especially my Surgeon ! Follow up was perfect! An extremely positive experience.
